Inspirational Quote from ….
Steve Wozniak

Stephen Gary Wozniak born August 11, 1950), is an American inventor, electronics engineer, programmer, philanthropist, and technology entrepreneur who co-founded Apple, Inc. in 1976, which later became the world’s largest information technology company by revenue. He and Apple co-founder Steve Jobs are widely recognized as pioneers of the personal computer revolution of the 1970s and 1980s.

“You can make something big when young that will carry you through life. Look at all the big startups like Microsoft, Apple, Google, Facebook, Twitter, etc. They were all started by very young people who stumbled on something of unseen value. You’ll know it when you hit a home run.”

Steve Wozniak, along with Steve Jobs (boy, that must have been confusing for their employees!), are two of the greatest visionaries and inventors of the late 20 century.

I remember the stories about the two of them, working out of a friends garage, trying to get their new invention and company started.

Things were moving fast in that direction in the 1970s with the Steves, Apple and what became known as Silicon Valley.

How do I know this?  Because I grew up there and actually went to high school with both Steves!  I don’t remember Jobs, but I do remember that ‘Woz’ was the geeky guy who was always ‘fussing’ with something.

So, to take some inspiration from ‘Woz’, I want to share one last quote:

“Don’t worry that you can’t seem to come up with sure billion dollar winners at first. Just do projects for yourself for fun. You’ll get better and better.”
